Clark Philippines is fast becoming the place to be. Robert Thoburn (Forsspac Chairman) attended the CEO Forum “Asia Real Estate Summit 2017” held on May 24th in Manila at which Mr. Sylvester Wong of AECOM presented the new masterplan for the new Clark Green City with the permission of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA).
Robert’s overall view is that the new city is well planned with areas designated to types of use along with a great transport infrastructure plan and plenty of green spaces. This is a great opportunity for the Philippines to build a world class city.
Another presenter Mr. Bong Alvaro, who is also a major developer in Clark (Midori Hotel), enthused about the future development potential of Clark given the available land bank, airport development plans, region wide ease of access and general amenities of the area.
Forsspac has been involved in Clark projects since 2010 which include the underground utilities planning of the 168 ha GGLC Logistics Park, commissioning of the Medical City hospital facility and more recently as MEPF designers for the Widus Hotel and Casino Expansion Project (100,000 sqm of 5-star hotel, casino, retail and waterpark).
