SM Prime Holdings Incorporated’s first project under the US Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), the SM Aura at the Civic Center achieves a “Gold” certification. Forsspac provided enhanced commissioning, measurement, and verification services.
The SM Aura achieved gold status after being awarded the necessary LEED points, a process of dedication to achievement that started in 2011. The shopping mall occupies a total land area of 3.397 hectares. It is comprised of a multi-level mall with 3 basement parking levels and a 23-storey Grade-A office tower.
Management Services provided by Forsspac ensured that the final building at handover followed the design intent resulting to a safe building that is pleasant to be in and is as energy efficient as possible.
Forsspac’s teams have successfully commissioned many projects through the LEED process including the Zuellig Building, and Manila (Platinum), among others.
